FRAUDULENCY OF MAMATA BANERJEE PROVED AGAIN - Sudip

The Railway Budget presented by Ms. Mamata Banerjee is a classic example of super fraudulence and forgery.

The Railway budget promises the people of West Bengal a plethora of projects including, new railway track, new trains, new world class stations, adarsh stations, multi-functional complexes, Dedicated Freight Corridor, women commando force for security, new safety measures, multi-level parking facilities, hospitals, colleges, automobile hubs, new wagon factories, axle factories, wheel factories etc. The real story behind all these tall announcements only exposes the deceptive politics of Ms. Mamata Banerjee.

The facts exposed by “Ananda Bazar Patrika” in its edition dated 26-02-2010 corroborate all the deceptions of the Railway Minister.

1 The proposed expenditure for the construction of sheds in different stations of Sealdah Division is Rs. 86 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 10 Lakhs only.

2 The proposed expenditure for construction of shelters on platforms of 30 stations in Sealdah Division is Rs. 63.09 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 10 Lakhs only.

3 The proposed expenditure for construction of shelters on platforms of 40 stations in Howrah Division is Rs. 137.01 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 10 Lakhs only.

4 The proposed expenditure for construction of Railway Museum at Howrah is Rs. 16 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 46 Lakhs only.

5 The proposed expenditure for construction of campus for Women Force of R.P.F. at Asansol is Rs. 14.72 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 46 Lakhs only.

6 The proposed expenditure for construction of Railway Museum at Bolepur is Rs. 8.31 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 46 Lakhs only.

7 The proposed expenditure for construction of Rabindra Railway Museum at Howrah is Rs. 12.20 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 46 Lakhs only.

8 The proposed expenditure for construction of Training Centre at Maldah is Rs. 10 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 50 Lakhs only.

9 The proposed expenditure for installation of Internet Services in Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani Express is Rs. 6.30 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 1.00 Lakhs only.

10 The proposed expenditure for construction of RPF Barrack at New Coochbehar is Rs. 15 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 10 Lakhs only.

11 The proposed expenditure for railway safety arrangements in Howrah-Kharagpur route is 144.38 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 10 Lakhs only.

12 The proposed expenditure for Training centre relevant to Chittaranjan Railway Industry is 42 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 1.00 Lakhs only.

13 The proposed expenditure for doubling of railway track between Kalinarayanpur-Shantipur is 99.99 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 5.40 Crores only.

14 The proposed expenditure for doubling of railway track between Katwa-Patuli is 126.95 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 6 Crores only.

15 The proposed expenditure for doubling of railway track between Naihati-Sagardighi is 141.76 Crores whereas the actual amount allotted is Rs. 6 Crores only.

The Railway Minister has flooded West Bengal with lofty and exaggerated assurances in order to increase her popularity for electoral gains in 2011. She thinks for granted that West Bengal is nothing but a paradise of foolish people with idiotic sense after the result of last parliamentary elections of 2009.
