With just days left for the first phase of voting for the 2019 general elections, over 200 Indian writers have appealed to the people to “vote against hate politics”. The signatories on the letter published on the Indian Cultural Forum include Anand Teltumbde, Arundhati Roy, Girish Karnad, Nayantara Sahgal, TM Krishna and Romila Thapar.
